When are our meetings ?

 

 

 

Members of the public are still more than welcome to attend our meetings and should contact the Clerk if possible to allow for us to arrange for seating etc in the hall.  We would ask that masks be worn if at all possible.

Meeting of April 7th - apologies for the short notice of cancellation but due to Covid we have had to cancel this meeting.  It has been rescheduled for April 21st.

Shute Parish Council meets approximately every six weeks, on a Thursday evening, starting at 7.30pm unless otherwise stated.  

Because Shute is a long thin, rural parish with a mostly scattered population except for Whitford we move our meetings so we are near most residents twice or three times in a year.   Meetings generally alternate between the Umborne Hall, St Michaels Church, Shute and the Whitford Village Hall.

Meetings start at 7.30pm.

* Annual Assembly of the Parish meeting. The ‘state of the union’ meeting for the residents of the Parish.  The Chairman details the work the Council had undertaken in the past year.

** Annual Meeting of the Council.  The meeting where the Chair, vice chair and other posts are appointed.

Additional meetings may be held if required.

Members of the public are welcome to attend our meetings.  If they could contact the Clerk in advance then the seating can be organised it would be appreciated.
